Contract length: 6 months Salary: £24,000.00 - £27,000.00 per year At Arriva, our Bus Drivers are at the heart of the communities we serve. Working as part of the Talent Acquisition Team, the Resourcer will be responsible for shortlisting and telephone screening high volumes of candidates. You will effectively manage candidate applications to ensure sufficient new hires into the business to fulfil the requirements. You will attend local recruitment events and assessment days to support with the selection of suitable candidates, where required. This role will be offered on a hybrid basis (3 days in the Thurmaston office, 2 days at home) and initially on a fixed-term contract until Spring 2025. Responsibilities Review candidate applications and shortlist CVs for initial selection process. Conduct telephone screens to identify eligible and suitable candidates. Invite successful candidate to interview / assessment, working to ensure maximum attendance and pass rate. Be an advocate for our Employer Brand and engage candidates in the opportunities. Support with the coordination and running of assessment days / recruitment events where required. Build talent pools through the direct sourcing candidates using online and offline channels. Act as the initial point of contact for candidates applying to join the business, answering any queries they may have. Respond to speculative applications and convert into interviews. Ensure tracker and ATS data is accurate. Manage all candidate communications ensuring all candidate correspondence is timely, accurately, and professionally written. Refine and improve recruitment and system processes. Provide reports on recruitment activity within your area or across the team as required. Contribute through own and team performance to the achievement of Recruitment KPI targets and SLAs. Ensure all candidates receive a positive experience of Arriva. Ensure all recruitment activity and record keeping is compliant with employment legislation and Data Protection. Work collaboratively with the team. What we're looking for Previous experience within a similar recruitment role dealing with a high-volume workload within a fast-paced environment. Excellent customer service. Experience of working to KPIs and targets. Confident with verbal and written communication skills. Attention to detail and professional written and verbal communication skills
