This is a permanent, full-time position in I&D practice and this represents a unique opportunity for someone to enhance their I&D Consulting career.YOUR PROFILE Configure and maintain database servers and processes including monitoring of system health and performance to ensure high levels of performance availability and security.Apply data modeling techniques to ensure development and implementation support efforts meet integration and performance expectationsIndependently analyze solve and correct issues in real time providing problem resolution end-to-end.Refine and automate regular processes track issues and document changesAssist developers with complex query tuning and schema refinement.Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems.Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours.Share domain and technical expertise providing technical mentorship and cross-training to other peers and team membersSkills and Qualifications5+ years MS SQL Server Administration experience requiredExperience with Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO) using native monitoring and troubleshooting toolsExperience with backups restores and recovery modelsKnowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL ServerExperience working with Windows server including Active DirectoryExcellent written and verbal communicationFlexible team player get-it-done personalityAbility to organize and plan work independentlyAbility to work in a rapidly changing environmentAbility to multi-task and context-switch effectively between different activities and teamsMCTS MCITP and/or MVP certifications a plusMicrosoft Certified SQL Server DBAABOUT CAPGEMINI Capgemini is a global business and technology transformation partner, helping organizations to accelerate their dual transition to a digital and sustainable world, while creating tangible impact for enterprises and society.
