Electrician Location: Based in or around West Bromwich, travel to office occasionally required but generally straight to siteSalary: Hourly rate based on National JIB Published RatesContract: Full time, Permanent - 37.5 hours per week + Overtime when availableWe are West Midlands Electrical Installations Ltd (WMEI), an established and well-respected electrical company which has been trading and growing from strength to strength since 1959!We are delighted to be able to offer a complete electrical service within all sectors including Local Authorities, Education, Commercial and Industrial Organisations.Our business provides the following services: Commercial re-wires, Electrical Design, Emergency Lighting, Energy Saving lighting schemes, General Lighting Schemes, Portable Appliance Testing, Periodic Inspection Reports, Fire Alarm systems and Maintenance.We are now recruiting for an experienced Electrician to join our team, you will be responsible for installation, maintaining and repairing electrical systems in Commercial and Industrial settings both locally and nationally.You will interpret plans and specifications, install equipment and ensure safety compliance.In addition to this, as our Electrician you can expect to be directly responsible for: Working to electrical plans and specifications for lighting, power, Fire, and other electrical systems to 18th Edition or relevant StandardsLeading other Engineers and or Trainees as and when requiredTesting and Inspecting completed worksTroubleshooting faultsProcessing and maintaining paperwork in line with Company administration systems.In order to be successful in this role you must have: Proven experience as an electrician, 5 years Minimum QualifiedValid qualifications + 18th EditionExcellent knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and safety regulationsSolid understanding of electrical plans and SpecificationsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamValid Driving LicenceIPAF (Desirable)PASMA (Desirable)DBS Eligibility for Working in Schools etc.If you feel you have the necessary skills and experience to be successful in this role, click on APPLY today!No agencies please.JBRP1_UKTJ
