Finance Manager – Exeter – up to £45,000 Awesome opportunity for an experienced, hands-on finance manager/company accountant, to be part of a successful business at the forefront of the UK’s green economy! The recruitment of a Finance Manager is a key appointment, where you’ll help shape this function of the business as they grow. About the role Hands-on, varied and with the expectation that you’ll support other business functions as required – you’ll be joining a small, collaborative head office team. Day to day, you’ll be taking care of: * Management accounts and reports * Credit control * Invoicing * Client billing * Liaising with external accountants * Bank reconciliations * Payroll * Pension administration About you Naturally you’ll already have experience in performing a role like this – preferably a Company Accountant/Finance Manager currently working in a small-medium sized business, where you are hands-on with all aspects of finance. You’ll have a recognised accountancy qualification – AAT3 as a minimum. It’s essential that you already use/have used Xero and Sage software. And you’ll know your way around MS Office with at least intermediate Excel skills. Beyond this, we’re looking for a great communicator with the ability to convey financial information to non-financial people; someone that’s super organised, with exceptional attention to detail, and first-class numeracy skills. You’ll be someone who enjoys fast-paced office life, working alongside a team of passionate people who share the company vision.
