Risk Model Governance Manager Hybrid / Remote (Potential travel to London and South East) Permanent £65 - 95,000 + bonus and benefits, DOE Do you have a background in statistical modelling? Would you like to work with a global firm, adding value to their commercial strategy team in a varied role? CORE Talent Solutions is delighted to be supporting our global client, expanding its corporate strategy function with a newly created model risk oversight position. The role will support the Senior Manager in the oversight and validation of the statistical risk models within the firm, and on behalf of financial services clients globally. Key responsibilities of the Risk Model Governance Manager: Provide support and input to model-building teams across the group to ensure newly built models are aligned with the firm’s forecasting strategy. Support quarterly revenue forecasting processes driven by Forecasting teams Present information on changes in group forecasts to leadership groups in the business Recommend and implement improvements to the group’s model governance processes Develop risk controls and reporting processes for the group Key skills or background required for the Risk Model Governance Manager: Further education level in a quantitative field of study (Statistics, Finance, Economics or Similar) Experience with Python, SQL, and/or PowerBI Experience in model development, model validation, predictive modelling, or model assessment Comfortable working with global teams and stakeholders Strong communication skills with all levels of an organisation Experience in statistical modelling in a business environment is essential for this role, be that within financial services or another sector.
