Additional sleep-in's and shifts are available if you would like any overtime.Our home is located in Padworth, Berkshire but don't worry if you are a non-driver, we have you covered. We offer a free transport to work service for the morning and evening shifts from Reading Train Station, Rose Kiln Lane, Basingstoke Road and Reading Road (public transport will only be required for the afternoon shift).About the role As a Children's Residential Worker, you will be a positive role model for the children within Amegreen Children's Services, offering care and support to children with Learning Disabilities providing structure, consistency, and nurturing as part of day-to-day living, always ensuring the safety of each child. You will build effective relationships with the children, support them with routine (personal care may be required), join the children in activities and holidays, creating meaningful care plans, working together with parents, teachers, therapists, and social workers, write reports and ensuring records are kept clear and up to date.
