About the Candidate: Our client is seeking an ambitious and passionate individual to join their team as a Buyers Assistant for Womenswear at their office in Hampshire. About the Role: As a Buyers Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Buyer with various tasks crucial to the effective management of critical path issues, quality assurance, and delivery solutions. Your responsibilities will include providing administrative support for buying processes, attending key meetings to contribute to range building and product selection, managing current season samples, and maintaining the visual range planner. You will also be responsible for handling store product queries, overseeing tech packs, trims, approvals, and ensuring packaging and labelling accuracy. Additionally, staying updated with market trends and competitors will be vital to assist in making informed decisions. Your Key Responsibilities: Support Buyer in managing critical path issues and proposing solutions. Collaborate on quality and delivery issues, agreeing on actions and resolutions. Provide administrative support for buying processes. Attend key meetings to aid range building and product selection. Contribute to building a commercially balanced range through market analysis and creative input. Manage current season samples and maintain the visual range planner. Handle store product queries and assist in weekly trade actions. Stay updated on market trends and competitor analysis.Suggested Requirements: Fashion-related qualification or equivalent experience. Strong time management skills to handle multiple deadlines. Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities. Passion for emerging trends and continuous improvement.
