Swift placements are working with a legal client based in Bradford who are looking to recruit for a Legal Secretary. Our client is looking for a versatile administrative professional who will be moving to support between departments within the company, providing temporary or ad-hoc support where needed. The Floating Secretary will provide secretarial and administrative support across multiple departments within the organisation on an as-needed basis. This role requires a highly organised, adaptable, and self-motivated individual capable of multitasking and quickly acclimating to different team environments. Main Purpose of Role * Provision of secretarial and administrative support for all departments as required. * Production of departmental documents and associated correspondence for the all departments as required. * Assisting in providing a professional service to clients. The package: Monday to Friday Full time Permanent position Fully Office Based Location: Bradford City Centre Salary on offer: £23,000- £25,000 per annum DOE! 23 days + Bank Holidays Enrolled onto the pension scheme from day1 Day off on your birthday! Friendly working environment Transport links and easily accessible Key Responsibilities: * Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive secretarial and clerical support, including managing phone calls, scheduling meetings, and handling correspondence. * Diary and Calendar Management: Assist with scheduling appointments, maintaining calendars, and coordinating meetings across different departments. * Document Preparation: Prepare, edit, and proofread documents, reports, presentations, and correspondence. * Filing and Record Keeping: Organise and maintain physical and electronic files to ensure accessibility and compliance with company policies. * Reception Duties: Cover reception areas as needed, including greeting visitors, answering phones, and directing calls. * Expense Processing: Dealing with accounts procedures (completing accounts sheets, disbursements and expenses, billings) and administration as delegated by fee earners. * Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Adapt quickly to different team dynamics and workflows, providing support where it is most needed Qualifications * 2+ years of experience in a secretarial, administrative, or office support role. * Satisfactory and appropriate qualifications in typing and/or word processing with audio and examination passes in English and Mathematics. * Good level of secretarial, keyboard, clerical and interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication abilities. * Typing Speed: Minimum typing speed of 60 words per minute. * Professionalism: Excellent interpersonal skills with a polished and professional demeanor.
