Job Requirements / Description
Are you looking for an opportunity to work at the forefront of low-carbon solutions and contribute to the creation of sustainable heating infrastructure?
With a recent multi-million-pound investment, the business is well-positioned to continue its growth journey, and they would love for you to play a part in it. As recruit number seven, you will have ample opportunity to shape the approach, improve current processes, and help build team culture.
You’ll be joining a fast-paced, can-do team with an open, collaborative approach and a flat hierarchy. The role is highly flexible, allowing you to work primarily from home with periodic visits to their central London office (about once every couple of weeks). This position has high growth potential, with the possibility of progressing to Technical Director.
As a hands-on Senior Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems for a range of renewable energy heat network projects. These projects will include 4th and 5th generation heat networks, energy centres, and distribution systems for developments such as new-build housing, hotels, schools, and commercial buildings. You’ll lead projects from feasibility through to construction, engaging in strategic planning and following through with project management and implementation.
To be successful in this role, it’s expected that you will:
Possess a strong understanding of heat networks and district energy centres. Hold a minimum HNC qualification in building services or mechanical engineering. Have experience with design software such as AutoCAD, REVIT, and COMSOF. Be knowledgeable in CP1 and heat networks.
In return, you will receive a salary of £60,000 - £70,000 per annum, a discretionary annual performance bonus, 25 days of holiday, and a suite of other benefits.
Interested? Please call us on (phone number removed) or send an email with your CV (it doesn’t need to be fully up to date), and we’ll get in touch.
