Senior Cybersecurity Project Engineer Location: Open to Contract and Staff A global multi-energy company dedicated to creating a sustainable future through innovation, efficiency, and value creation. We are seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Project Engineer to lead cybersecurity efforts for our Operational Technology (OT) systems. The role involves ensuring compliance with cybersecurity standards (e.g., IEC62443, NIS(R) 2018 & OG86), managing risk assessments, and overseeing project delivery. You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure the security of our OT infrastructure, maintaining regulatory compliance and operational excellence. Align cybersecurity practices with OT system requirements and regulatory standards. Develop and maintain performance standards and compliance procedures for ICS/OT environments. Manage cybersecurity projects, ensuring they meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure compliance with project execution processes. Provide technical leadership in risk management, mitigation strategies, and cost control. Collaborate with contractors, ensuring strong interface management and project quality control. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. Strong experience in ICS/OT cybersecurity within the oil and gas sector. Familiarity with UK cybersecurity regulations and standards for OT systems. Proven experience in managing complex projects, cost control, and contractor coordination.
