About the Role: As the Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will support the Restaurant Manager and Head Chef in ensuring the smooth operation of an award-winning restaurant. You will be responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience, supervising daily operations, and leading a dedicated team to maintain the highest standards of service. Key Responsibilities: Supervise daily food and beverage operations, anticipating guests needs and ensuring exceptional service. Oversee breakfast, lunch, and dinner services, ensuring consistent quality and guest satisfaction. Maintain extensive knowledge of wine and food pairings, and ensure your team is well-versed in menu offerings. Manage Point of Sale (POS) systems and reservation systems efficiently. Monitor sales, oversee upselling standards, and handle cashing up and end-of-day reconciliations. Conduct team briefings and meetings in the absence of the Restaurant Manager. Foster strong working relationships with the Kitchen Brigade and other departments to deliver a seamless guest experience. Be present for key events and busy periods, including weddings, holidays, and special occasions. Perform duty management shifts, including being on call as required. What Were Looking For: A genuine passion for hospitality with a desire to contribute to the continued success of the establishment. Previous experience as an Assistant Restaurant Manager or Supervisor in a fine dining environment. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and develop your team. Strong attention to detail, superb personal presentation, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work across various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
