This role offers a chance to transition from gastro to fine dining in a dynamic environment. You'll gain valuable experience crafting seasonal specials and a diverse range of dishes, with the opportunity to contribute ideas. Ideal Profile for a Chef de Partie: Demonstrates proficiency in various cooking methods, with several years of experience working in a professional kitchen environment Expertise in a particular culinary area, such as grilling, sautéing, pastry, or sauces, managing their specific section of the kitchen with confidence and skill Capable of managing and training junior staff within their section, providing guidance and support to less experienced kitchen team members Excellent at managing their workstation, ensuring that all ingredients are prepped and available, and that their area remains clean and orderly Committed to creating high-quality dishes consistently, with a focus on flavour, presentation, and innovation Communicates clearly and effectively with the kitchen team and front of house to ensure smooth service and address any immediate issues Responsibilities of a Chef de Partie: Oversee and coordinate a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring all dishes are executed to the establishment's standards Prepare, cook, and present dishes within their specialty, following the restaurant's recipes and specifications Ensure that every dish leaving their section is of the highest quality in terms of both taste and presentation Responsible for ordering and managing inventory for their section, maintaining adequate stock levels and ensuring the freshness and quality of supplies Train and supervise junior kitchen staff, ensuring they are skilled and efficient in their roles and adhere to kitchen standards Maintain cleanliness and uphold all sanitary regulations within their area to ensure a safe and hygienic kitchen environment By submitting your CV to Ginger Recruitment Services Ltd (GRSL), you are consenting to GRSL providing you with recruitment services as an agency defined under the Employment Agencies Act 1973 and authorising GRSL to work seek on your behalf.
