Traffic Engineer

£35-40 ??South-East The Role: You will be instrumental in implementing vital traffic plans in your role as a traffic engineer. Your main responsibilities will be creating and executing minor lining and signage schemes and offering solutions for different traffic-related issues. You will manage the successful implementation of schemes, lead investigations, and create outline designs while collaborating closely with internal teams. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: ·Scheme Design & Delivery: Lead the design and implementation of minor traffic schemes, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to a high standard. ·Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with members of the public, parish councils, local councillors, and MPs, responding to traffic-related issues and attending site visits when necessary. ·Technical Expertise: Offer expert advice on traffic engineering matters, ensuring compliance with legal obligations while enhancing safety and efficiency on the road network. ·Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and present reports, technical briefing papers, and design inputs to stakeholders, ensuring recommendations are well-documented and effective. ·Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, stakeholders, and contractors to ensure the successful delivery of schemes while fostering strong relationships.
