Overview We are seeking a skilled Mazak Programmer/Setter/Operator to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will have experience in programming and operating Mazak Machines, with a preference for those familiar with Mazak machining centres using Nexus 2 controls. Confidence in machining high value exotic materials such as Nickel Alloy 625, 718, Inconel, and Aluminum Bronze is essential for this role. Responsibilities * Program, set up, and operate Mazak Machines, with a focus on machining centres using Nexus 2 controls * Expertise in machining high value exotic materials, demonstrating precision and attention to detail * Collaborate with production and engineering teams to ensure the efficient and timely completion of projects * Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet the required specifications * Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines Qualifications * Proven experience in programming and operating Mazak Machines, specifically machining centres with Nexus 2 controls * Familiarity with machining high value exotic materials such as Nickel Alloy 625, 718, Inconel, and Aluminum Bronze * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints * Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure * Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work * Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Day-to-day * Collaborate with the production and engineering teams to plan and execute machining projects * Program and set up Mazak Machines as per project requirements * Operate machines to produce precision parts from high value exotic materials * Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications * Maintain a safe and organized work environment
