Key Responsibilities: Enterprise Alignment: Understand and translate business drivers into effective system designs that enhance business outcomes. Architectural Assessment: Continuously document the current and future state of our architecture, ensuring alignment with our strategic roadmap. Security & Compliance: Implement and uphold security measures and compliance controls to maintain governance standards. Solution Design: Create comprehensive solution architectures that are scalable, secure, and maintainable, including system components and integration points. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate architectural risks, ensuring proactive issue resolution to minimize project disruptions. Technical Guidance: Provide support and guidelines to engineering and deployment teams for successful implementation of architectural solutions. Innovation & Modernization: Research emerging technologies and recommend those that align with industry trends and project goals. Stakeholder Collaboration: Build strong relationships with business and IT stakeholders, ensuring alignment of objectives and solutions. Azure Cost Management: Collaborate with the infrastructure team to optimize Azure spending and support cost management governance. Experience Required: Proven expertise in architecture, particularly in integrating infrastructure, systems, data, and applications. Extensive experience in Enterprise and IT Solutions Architecture, ideally within the Insurance sector. Qualified Azure Solutions Architect with hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure technologies. Familiarity with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, and understanding of the Solutions Architect's role within Agile projects. Knowledge of the London Insurance Market, including its regulatory environment and practices. Experience with insurance systems and ongoing change initiatives in the sector. Proficient in .NET, Angular, and Microsoft Power Apps. Ability to collaborate with developers in an outsourced environment. Work Environment: H ybrid working model with a minimum of 2 days in the office
