Job Duties:
Supporting teachers in the planning and delivery of lessons Teaching a lesson in the absence of a teacher Assisting with the implementation of individual education plans for students Providing one-on-one support to students with special educational needs Assessing and recording student progress Supervising students during activities and breaks
Required Qualifications:
Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent Enhanced DBS check Experience working in a similar role within a school setting
Education:
Minimum Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
Experience:
Experience working in a similar role within a school setting
Knowledge and Skills:
Understanding of the national curriculum Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Strong organisational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
First Aid certification Specialist training in supporting students with specific learning difficulties
Working Conditions:
This role involves working in a school environment, assisting teachers and supporting students. The work may involve standing for extended periods and occasional lifting of equipment. The successful candidate will be expected to work Full-Time hours during term time.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
