We are currently recruiting a passionate Assistant Bar Manager to join our team for this premium dining destination in the heart of Mayfair.
Our ideal teammate will be a hands-on, proactive, and enthusiastic person, who injects their personality into their work and inspires the team to deliver amazing drinks.
You
will also be supporting the Bar manager and looking after beverage service and you will be responsible for all operational tasks, such as opening and reporting on the revenue of the restaurant. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to lead the team in the absence of the Bar Manager
Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute creative cocktail menus that reflect seasonal trends and customer preferences. Curate a diverse and dynamic bar menu, ensuring exceptional quality and value for our guests. Train and mentor bartenders to deliver consistent, high-quality service and uphold company standards. Manage inventory, order supplies, and control costs to maximize profitability. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized bar area. Collaborate with the culinary team to create food and beverage pairings that enhance the overall dining experience. Stay informed about industry trends and developments, and continuously seek opportunities for improvement.
Requirements: Proven experience as an Assistant Bar Manager or in a similar role in a high-volume, upscale establishment. Extensive knowledge of spirits, wines, and cocktails, with a focus on creativity, sustainability and innovation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach. Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with inventory management software and POS systems. Certification in bartending or mixology is a plus.
