Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team and contribute to the successful delivery of vital refurbishment and adaptation projects.
Role Overview:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all costs associated with building, from initial calculations to final accounts. They will work on a range of adaptation and refurbishment projects within Birmingham City Council s housing portfolio, ensuring cost control and project efficiency while maintaining high standards of work quality and client satisfaction.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within social housing or public sector construction projects
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, procurement practices, and regulations
- Excellent analytical, financial, and negotiation skills
- Experience with contract administration (JCT/NEC contracts)
- Proficiency in relevant QS software and MS Office
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline
- Professional membership with RICS or CIOB is highly desirable
