Job Requirements / Description
New office based in Warrington exciting Sales , specialising in selling Sameday urgent delivery services across the UK with a focus on the Warrington, Liverpool, St Helens, Runcorn and surrounding area Main Purpose: Ownership of the agreed business development territory, securing new clients to drive business growth to meet Company KPI's and gross profit targets. Building client relationships to ensure existing clients continue to trade while consistently building a portfolio of new clients in line with targets. To follow up any qualified leads from websites and marketing exercises and to re-sign lapsed account customers where possible. Responsibilities of Job - New Business - Self-generation of leads by reviewing current successful clients / sectors and shortlisting possible targets - Increase the number of A&B customers by proactively identifying target customers/sectors and engage via cold calling, email, direct marketing and other techniques. - Develop & implement a business pipeline strategy that delivers Today Team's Business Plan and commission targets attracting & retaining new business. - Communicate the benefits of our clients services using effective questioning and listening skills to establish customer needs, the appropriate customer experience and the required contact plan. - Deliver area and sector campaigns to secure new customers. - Consistently report activity and results using the online CRM system / spreadsheets - Weekly reviewing of Journease booking system for any new leads / business / colx and delivery points that might of interest. - Communicate to the MD / Logistics Team any prospects with potential for trading via 'Contact Cards' - Sign up potential customers over the telephone / email where applicable. - Work with the Office Manager on credit account applications to ensure due diligence and to minimise risk of slow payment / bad debt. Account Management - Weekly monitoring of the sales analysis reports to identify any drop in spend and taking action to make sure our client is winning and retaining as much business as possible. - Proactively develop relationships that increase the take up of services and to thoroughly research and prepare for all meetings and calls. - Ask for referrals whenever possible. General responsibilities - Fully understand all areas of the service and price offering and communicate this effectively internally and externally. - Produce weekly and monthly performance reports for the MD. - Work with the Logistics Department to ensure new business is won and world class levels of customer service. - Build a marketing database for email-shots and direct mail each month. Person Specification Confident and competent in managing the whole sales process from lead generation to close of business. - Effective communicator both verbal and written. - Proven track record of achieving new business sales targets and closing business. - Minimum 2-years' experience in a similar B2B role (short sales cycle) - A self-starter who is resilient and can operate under pressure. - Strong organisational and planning skills. - Operates in line with company values & behaviours. - Confident & competent in the use of Microsoft packages and CRM systems. Key Performance Indicators - Sales activity achieved each week to the agreed levels. - Full updates on CRM each day to map progress of each prospect / client. - Achievement of sales targets A&B as per our clients Commissioning structure - Retention of clients - Customer satisfaction TPBN1_UKTJ
