Our client, based in Hammersmith, London, is in search of a talented and aspiring Structural Engineer with a minimum of ten years' experience to join their ever-growing team. Within this role, you will be responsible for assisting other Engineers with projects, conducting research, and writing reports. The ability to follow instructions is a minimum requirement, but the successful candidate will also need to display that they can take initiative, brief and manage others, undertake independent learning, and come up with original ideas to ensure delivery of our clients' aims.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED
- A minimum of 10 years senior engineer experience at a UK-based design consultancy.
- Chartered status in a relevant engineering institution (for example, ICE or IStructE).
- Excellent written, drawn, and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent team working and leadership skills.
- Ability to write reports and read and sign off reports of technical staff.
- Undertake the role of assigned mentor alongside a structured training plan for junior staff.
- Experience in working on residential projects.
- Design experience with a variety of materials including steel, concrete, timber, and masonry.
- Proficient in structural software including Tekla Tedds & Tekla Structural Designer.
- Knowledge of Revit is preferable.
- Participate in the development of the company through feedback, raising concerns, and making suggestions for improvement where appropriate. Attend site visits as required.
- Develop relationships with existing collaborators and seek out relationships with potential partners.
