Mechanical Engineer

Job title: Multiskilled Engineer Location: 30 Finsbury Square London EC2A 1AG Length: 9 month contract subject to extended or made permanent Work hours: Mon - Fri 8am - 5pm with 1 hour break Pay Rate: £23/hour PAYE Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services are currently recruiting a Multiskilled Engineer for a FM Services and Engineering company. In this role you will be working to provide both reactive and planned maintenance tasks as well as replacements though minor works and lifecycle. The role is to maintain the HVAC systems, to manage the site's BMS, and to oversee daily operations of cooling towers. Some of other duties include; * Ensures PPM records and paperwork are up to date and correctly filed in the site log books. * Ensures all PPM's & reactive works are completed within the specified SLA timeframes. * Capable of understanding and working from mechanical / electrical schematics. * Proficient in maintenance and fault diagnosis of AHUs, pumps, fan coil units, motors and controls systems. * Responsible for coordinating electrical shutdowns / reinstatement of services following loss of power. * Attends reactive tasks and emergency breakdowns as required. * Takes part in the ‘out of hours’ emergency call out rota for the contract and is the on-call technician for the required time. Attends out of hours as per contract requirements to carry out the above. * Is accountable for the safe and reliable operation of equipment and systems being maintained or installed and the consequences of any subsequent failures. * Provides regular updates & concise reports to the Technical Services Manager on works progress, and etc Key Skills/Experience: * Recognized Mechanical qualifications * Recognised Electrical engineering qualification * Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems * 18th Edition or 17th Edition (Desirable)
