Validation Engineer

Job Title: Validation Engineer. Location: Manchester, Greater Manchester Salary / Benefits £30k - £45k + Training + Benefits Our client is an independent and leading provider of Clean Air / Cleanroom services for NHS, Healthcare and Pharmaceutical clients. Due to business requirements, they are now seeking to take on an experienced and knowledgeable Validation Engineer to cover contracts across the North West region. You will have extensive experience working in line with HTM 03-01 guidelines, carrying out testing on critical ventilation systems alongside validating and verifying systems accurately. Our client is an excellent provider of on-site training, and can consider applications from Air/ Water Commissioning Engineers seeking a change, or Engineers with minimal experience, looking to learn. Consideration will be given to candidates from: Oldham, Rochdale, Bury, Blackburn, Burnley, Preston, Blackpool, Bolton, St Helens, Liverpool, Birkenhead, Warrington, Macclesfield, Chester, Crewe, Leek, Buxton, Huddersfield, Keighley, Bradford, Leeds, Wakefield, Lancaster, Fleetwood. Experience & Qualifications: " Working hands on as Validation Engineer for an established Clean Air / Cleanroom company. " Will ideally hold an up to date and relevant competent / authorised person training. " Holding the BOHS P601 and fume cupboard/ MBSC knowledge is desirable but not essential. " Excellent knowledge of relevant ISO / HTM 03-01 guidelines. " Able to produce detailed and comprehensive reports. " Good communication skills. The Role: " Attending various Healthcare and Pharmaceutical sites to validate critical ventilation systems. " Fume cupboard and MBSC testing and servicing. (Desirable) " Carrying out particle counts. " Carrying out maintenance and auditing on air handling units (AHUs). " Testing of DOP and HEPA filters. " Measuring of pressure cascades and air flows. " Calibrations, fault finding and repair on equipment. " Microbiological air sampling and environmental measuring. " Using information from site to produce detailed reports for clients, liaising with them to provide excellent technical support and advice. " Working in line with relevant Health and Safety guidelines.
