On behalf of NRS, we are looking for a Lean Practitioner/Business Improvement (Inside IR35) for a 12-month contract-based hybrid in Bristol or Harwell. The successful candidate for this role will be expected to work a minimum of 2 days per week on site with expectation of the occasional travel to other locations. As a Lean Practitioner/Business Improvement, your main responsibilities will be: * Provide technical expertise in specialist subject area of Lean. Act as a Subject Matter Expert in Lean and provide suitable advice and guidance as required * Represent the Business Improvement team inside the Company * Represent NRS in technical discussions with ONR and other Regulators, as required. * Support the setting of targets and managing delivery of the forward plan of prioritised simplifications Essential: * You will hold a Lean Practitioner qualification * You will also hold hands on experience of applying your techniques in large scale projects, this could be from a variety of backgrounds HR, Finance or Project Management * Stakeholder management skills at all levels * Strong communicator both written and verbal Desirable: * Chartered Engineer Status or equivalent * Masters level qualification National Qualification Framework (NQF) level 7 * Institute for Continuous Improvement in Public Services (ICIPS) or equivalent Professional Body (CMI, APM, CIPD) Please be aware that this role can only be worked within the UK and not Overseas.
