Our Client Our US client launched in 2021, led by a mighty founding team. Their Enterprise focused SaaS solution democratises communication in global companies, by utilising AI throughout their tech they have something market leading. Having grown from $6m ARR to $10m ARR in the last 12 months, they plan to hit $20m next year, an imminent Series B round of investment will help to supercharge this growth. With 10 clients in Europe they’re looking to hire their first European Sales Director, to scale the growth of this region. They have one employee based in the UK, in this role you will be responsible for leading on the sales front and then quickly starting to build a team capable of delivering $1.5m ARR in 2025 and at least $4m ARR in 2026. The sectors they’re looking to focus on are Biopharma, Tech, Banking and Insurance predominantly in 2025. What You’ll Get As the European Sales Director, you can expect a basic salary of £120k - £140k base with a double OTE which is uncapped and equity. As you would expect of a company of this size the benefits package is limited at the moment. This is a company with a Remote working model, and that will be the same in Europe, so you will be given everything you need to set up from home. What You’ll Do The sales motion is built around a Land, Expand, Explode model, and it is crucial that the right Sales Director has this background. This role ultimately develops into a GM position, but to begin with you will have over 10 accounts to Expand and more accounts being Landed to then also expand. You will grow a team of Senior AE and Senior CS talent but only once you’ve started to make the necessary impact on the revenue growth. This role requires plenty of European travel on a weekly and monthly basis, with a focus on in person meetings and events. What You’ll Need So what we’re looking for in a suitable European Sales Director is someone with a proven Enterprise SaaS sales background, largely as an IC but who has started their journey of leadership and now feels ready to build something. You must understand you are joining a small but hyper growth, very ambitious company and so the profile of person that will work in this role is someone who understands that you do whatever needs to be done to achieve the goal. They’re uncompromising in their focus on hiring the top talent to achieve these goals.
