Project Manager - Electric Vehicle

Project Manager - Electric Vehicle Charging Points   We are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to join a busy council in South London on part time contract basis.   You will report to the Principal Engineer in the Transport, Commissioning and Engagement Team. The role has no direct line management or budgetary responsibility, but you will need to work with colleagues to manage scheme budgets and may need to oversee and supervise consultants and contractors.   Key tasks and responsibilities   ·Leads on the development and design on a range of projects, managing complexity with external contractors, internal and external partners ·Confidently applies knowledge relating to the wider Borough policies around Local Plan and Climate Emergency Action Plan to drive the sustainability agenda ·Produces high quality reports of a complex nature and is able to present challenges and solutions to relevant Boards and Committees and Senior Management ·Ability to produce surveys for engagement and consultation purposes, analyse engagement data and ensure residents are kept informed about the project. ·Maintaining project records and providing regular updates to Senior Managers and Members ·Able to produce high quality communications to internal and external stakeholders and manage projects against a background of sensitive community issues   Previous experience in EV is essential for this role.   Carrington West are also looking for Engineers & Project Managers with similar backgrounds across the South of UK - please get in touch to find out more.   For a full description and further information on the role, please call Phoebe Kingston at Carrington West on (phone number removed) or email (url removed) Footnote: If you feel that you are right for this job technically, but the rate, location or seniority does not suit you specifically then please still feel free to send us your CV.
