The Role & Team
Our User Experience team is responsible for identifying and resolving issues in the key workflows in our existing web application (Console) and platform. We are looking for a front end developer specialising in web development, preferably with a passion for security, and with experience in building out rich, data-oriented user interfaces.
As a member of this cross-functional team, you’ll support our journey towards a culture of user-centred design and enable our users to quickly identify and manage vulnerabilities/risks in their Web Applications, APIs, and Network Appliances.

Our mission is to provide enterprise customers with a complete security testing solution, providing up to the minute coverage of a customers’ entire estate, be that web applications, internal/external infrastructure and cloud deployments.
Who We’re Looking For:
Essential:
- Experience of working in a cross-functional team, including design and backend capabilities.
- Experience building MPA and SPA web applications using CSS, HTML, and JavaScript.
- Strong experience of building web user interfaces using VueJS and JSON REST APIs.
- Strong experience with modern CSS features like flexbox, grid, variables, animation, etc.
- Experience of developing and maintaining shared design systems.
- Experience of using automated testing to validate behaviour, preferably with Mocka.
- Experience of maintaining feature compatibility across multiple web browsers.
- Understanding of the WCAG standard and its application within user interface design.
- Prior use of Git for source code version control.
- Experience of build and release using CI/CD pipelines.
Desirable:
- Experience with directly interacting with users, either in development or other customer-centred roles such as sales/support/marketing.
- Experience of using Python/Python Frameworks like Django for Multi-Page Application development.
- Prior use of Docker for day-to-day development environment management.
- Prior use of Figma and other design management systems.
- Prior use of Jira or other development management systems.
- Prior use of Webpack or similar bundling technology.
- A strong understanding of the HTTP protocol.

Additional Information
This role will be predominantly remote, but would involve occasional visits to our office in Leeds, at most once per month.
