Job Title - Procurement Analyst

Head Office Location: Brindley Place, Birmingham

Job Location: Flexible - B1 2JB

Salary - £32,959 per annum

Contract type - Fixed Term - 12 Months

Working hours - Full time 37 hours per week

Closing Date -27 September 2024

About the role

This role is a for a fixed term of 12 months, working in the procurement unit of GreenSquareAccord limited, the successful applicant will be supporting the team to implement a new purchase to pay system.


They will predominantly conducting supplier spend and contract analysis in order to identify ongoing contracts and contract managers for setting up in the new purchase to pay system. They will be analysing complex data and liaising with stakeholders to validate existing contract data and identify ongoing contracts for the purchase to pay project.


The role will also be supporting the procurement team in the implementation of the Procurement Act 2023, in particular the identification of non-compliant spend by supplier/category and creation of contract records.

About you


The successful candidate will have a good general level of education at and beyond GCSE (a minimum of 5 GCSE`s) including Maths or statistics.


Working experience of data analysis, supplier and contract administration.

Customer focused, both internally and externally. With clear understanding of the `internal customer` and their needs.



Excellent analytical abilities with proficiency in data analysis and market research. With the ability to clearly interpret findings from data: translate complex data into actionable insights to drive decision making.


They will have excellent interpersonal and effective written/oral communication skills, with knowledge of procurement and contract management as well as strong relationship skills and the ability to build working relationships.


Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications, with strong excel skills and an understanding of Procure to pay systems, supplier portals and document management.
