Role Overview:

As the Sales and Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for driving the growth of a consortia program that provides travel agencies with exclusive access to negotiated rates and deals from leading hotel and car rental partners. You will work closely with partners, travel agencies, and internal teams to ensure the success of the program and optimize its commercial impact.


Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Marketing Strategy:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy to grow the consortia program, delivering maximum value to hotel and car rental partners as well as member agencies.
  • Identify opportunities for program expansion and revenue growth.

Partnership Development:

  • Engage with global hotel and car rental partners to secure participation in the consortia program.
  • Articulate the value proposition to key stakeholders, negotiating terms to maximize participation, marketing contributions, and agency engagement.

Marketing Campaigns & Material:

  • Create and manage high-quality, customer-facing marketing materials and communications to promote the program’s offerings.
  • Produce digital content, newsletters, sales brochures, and reports that highlight the benefits of the consortia program.

Performance Tracking & Optimization:

  • Monitor and evaluate marketing and sales KPIs.
  • Analyze program performance to identify opportunities for optimization and provide data-driven insights to internal teams and external partners.
  • Ensure all stakeholders are regularly updated with reports and reviews.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the company’s marketing, digital media, and regional teams to align the consortia program’s initiatives with broader business objectives.
  • Facilitate collaboration across departments to ensure smooth execution of sales and marketing plans.

Industry Events & Representation:

  • Represent the consortia program at travel industry conferences, trade shows, and partner meetings to promote the program and build new business relationships.
  • Be the face of the program in driving brand awareness and new opportunities.


What You Bring:

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the travel consortia industry, with a proven track record in sales, business development, and marketing roles, ideally within a multinational environment.

Skills:

  • Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to create compelling marketing content and build long-term partner relationships.
  • An understanding of travel technology, consortia programs, and the needs of travel suppliers is essential.

Communication:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience in creating marketing materials and presenting value propositions to senior stakeholders.
