Quality Testing Operative (known internally as a Milk Intake Operative)

4 on 4 off shift pattern (2 days, 2 nights, 4 off) between 7-7

£31,350.92 per annum / £14.98 per hour

We're recruiting for a Milk Intake Operative to join our M ller Milk & Ingredients business at our Bridgwater Dairy in Somerset.

We're looking for a self-motivated individual whose purpose will be to ensure the smooth running of the raw milk intake, cream export, reclaim area and chemical offload area. Carrying out lab testing to analyse, record and report results in relation to all required processing lab tests.

Overview of main responsibilities for the Quality Testing Operative are:

• Full operation of the SCADA system
• Replenishment of chemicals
• Sampling of FMT's
• Exporting of bulk cream to tankers
• Maintain hygiene of processing area
• Contribute to the off loading of raw milk, exporting of cream and chemical offload
• Work with site teams to deliver improvement projects, activities and events aligned to the companies' objectives and goals.
• Support and contribute to all department & site PMS activities
• Support any new system, structure or process improvement projects
• Help maintain good workplace organization and visual management
• Ensure that all relevant data is captures and recorded timeously

• Working within a variety of roles from off loading tankers of milk to sampling all required process samples
• Physical role with lots of walking, manual cleaning and pressure washing involved
