If you already have some experience interfacing with senior leaders, that's a plus About MicroSummits: MicroSummits is an innovative online events platform that connects senior drug developers to review and discuss industry trends & challenges in under one hour. You will be contacting senior level executives to research the content of the event assigned to you, piecing together the talking points of the agenda and securing facilitators & speakers. You will lead the project team, ensuring the commercial success of each event, acting as the subject matter expert and project manager. We will provide training on all the methods & tools you will need for the role and support you in your transition from scientist to business leader. We work to very tight deadlines but value life/work balance and have developed a very efficient process that will guide you through the steps and help you keep your focus. Role and Responsibilities: You’ll be driving the life cycle of an entire project from start to finish, so you’ll need to be an engaging, persuasive communicator and natural relationship builder (both externally and internally). You’ll be comfortable taking ownership and leading a team to achieve demanding goals. The role will also bring you face to face with many incredible, renowned biotechnology industry leaders, interviewing them and helping them produce compelling content for your event. Requirements: A degree in the life sciences from a leading university. A passion for research and uncovering new trends/ideas Great Spoken & Written English Comfortable with high levels of Zoom Call / email activity interfacing with industry leaders. Excellent organizational and communication skills.
