Electrical Contracts DesignerLocation: commutable from Cardiff surrounding areasAre you an electrical designer looking for your next challenge, one that will offer you further training and progression routes to excel your career?Here's a great opportunity to join a dynamic Engineering team as an Electrical Contracts Designer, where you'll be responsible for creating electrical designs for switchgear products.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with Applications Engineers to develop and modify electrical schematics, including designs for CT/VT, electrical interlocking, and control systems.Work closely with Manufacturing and Quality teams to address any issues related to design drawings.Assist in producing contract job packs and deliverables, ensuring on-time project completion.Provide support for customer queries and internal departments regarding electrical designs and manufacturing requirements.Maintain accuracy in project work, ensuring compliance with high standards of drawing quality.Qualifications: HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.Skills:Proficient in AutoCAD (preferably AutoCAD Electrical)Strong communication skillsDetail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work independently or as part of a teamThis role is perfect for someone with a passion for engineering, attention to detail, and the drive to ensure excellence in electrical design projects.If you're looking for an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, this could be the role for you!Job Type: Full-time+ Progression + Training + Company BenefitsSchedule:Monday to FridayWork Location: In person
