Senior Design Estimator £35k negotiable My client, a leading design and manufacturing company specializing in high-end, bespoke interior products, is looking for a talented Senior Design Estimator to join their team. Role Overview: As the Senior Design Estimator, you will be responsible for researching and selecting the best processes, materials, and suppliers to support the production of bespoke designs. Your focus will be balancing high-quality output with cost efficiency, ensuring profitability. Key Responsibilities: * Collaborate with the sales team to understand project scopes. * Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, sourcing new ones as needed. * Work with technical experts to gather accurate production costs. * Prepare detailed cost estimates for sales, including material, labor, and equipment expenses. * Use ERP systems to calculate estimates and review technical documents. * Communicate project details to the production team and ensure all pricing aligns with company margins. * Conduct annual reviews of catalog pricing and recommend updates as needed. Skills & Experience Required: * Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and costing. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems. * Excellent communication and collaboration skills. * 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within the high-end design sector is preferred. * Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud is a plus.
