Amiosec is seeking talented graduates to join our growing engineering team in September 2025, where you will be an integral part of small, multi-disciplined teams involved in the design, development, and evaluation of a range of secure communication products and technologies. In addition, you will have opportunities to work within Research and Development to understand and investigate cutting edge technologies which allow Amiosec to stay ahead of the curve. Typical Activities Support the design, development, and implementation of electronic hardware designs, covering schematics and layout Work alongside subject matter experts to assess and select electronic components to meet product needs Participate in daily stand-ups, planning and design meetings Working within teams to contribute to technical solutions Provide support to product development activities Provide support for fault diagnostics to assist in product improvements Obtain an appreciation and some experience in all areas of the product lifecycle, from requirements through to testing Investigate emerging technologies STEM outreach is very important to Amiosec and all early careers staff will be encouraged to get involved with the creation of new activities and attending events What you need Minimum of 2:1 degree in a relevant subject such as Electronic Engineering or Computer Engineering Familiar with the principles of electronic design and some familiarity with one or more of these areas: Digital and analogue electronic circuit design, simulation, implementation, and verification High speed digital design Design of multi-layer PCBs involving multiple embedded processing devices, including schematic capture Experience of PCB layout, including reviewing and identifying constraints Knowledge of RF design such as Wi-Fi, NFC or cellular Review technical documents for conformity and quality Author technical documentation Familiarity with the basic stages of the product lifecycle Enthusiasm for electronic design involving the latest technologies Ability to quickly learn innovative technologies Ability to apply a systematic and methodical approach to debugging/resolving technical issues Ability to work individually or as a member of a multi-disciplined team Self-motivated Willingness to embrace new technologies/techniques Good time management and ownership of own deliverables Good troubleshooting and problem-solving Ability to foster and develop innovative ideas Willingness to contribute to improvements in products and ways of working Why Work at Amiosec?
