Structural Engineer Redhill £55,000 An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated Structural Engineer to join a well-established and thriving company. You will play a key role in delivering a range of innovative projects in the commercial building sector for blue-chip clients. This position offers the chance to work on high-profile architectural glazing projects, including balustrades and atriums. Key Responsibilities: * Lead the structural design and analysis of architectural glazing projects, including balustrades and atriums. * Collaborate closely with design teams, architects, contractors, and other key stakeholders to ensure project success. * Participate in the preparation and presentation of project proposals and bids, including estimating project timescales and costs. * Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure designs meet specifications and safety standards. Requirements: * BEng or MSc in Civil/Structural Engineering. * Minimum of 3 years of experience, preferably with knowledge of architectural glazing. * Chartered or working towards chartered status with ICE or IStructE. * Experience working with major materials, including concrete, steel, and glass. * Proficiency in structural analysis software, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks. * Experience with bespoke bracketry and support framework calculations, including weld specifications. * Skilled in fixing calculations and torque values for pull testing. * Experience compiling Designer SER packs for Scotland (Advantageous) * Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
