Finance Assistant

Finance Assistant - Perm - Marden - up to £35K Are you a Finance Assistant with experience of book keeping and purchase ledger looking for your next challenge? Working alongside a friendly and collaborative small finance team, my client is looking for an experienced finance assistant that can support across a range of activities including: * Processing invoices and financial transactions * Credit control and providing excellent customer service * Bank reconciliations and payment setups * Responding to finance queries * Updating and maintaining financial spreadsheets * Handling monthly and quarterly reports What’s in it for you? * Salary up to £35K - with a long term incentive career plan. * Hours 8.30am- 5pm. * Pension, healthcare plan * Lots of variety, so you don't have to be pigeonholed What they are looking for: * Prior experience as a Finance assistant or similar role with sales and purchase ledger experience. * Good MS Excel skills. * Organisation and time-management skills. * Attention to detail, with ability to spot numerical errors. * Familiarity with XERO or similar accounting software.
