Quality Inspector

Actio Engineering Recruitment are delighted to be assisting our Reading based client with their search for a Quality Inspector. Our client is a forward-thinking business who manufacture quality components for a variety of different industries. The Role • Goods in/out inspection and ownership on QA area • Verify first offs to drawings, gauges and work orders • Set gauging for new jobs • In house calibration of micrometers, verniers and various gauges • Internal auditing and report writing • Analyse quality data • Carry out tooling inspection • Feedback non confirming work to machinists About You The ideal candidate will: • Be able to interpret engineering drawings. • Good working knowledge of ISO 9001 • Have experience of using manual inspection tools • Strong attention to detail Shift Day Shift – Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 5:30pm, Friday 8:30am to 4pm Pay Up to £17p/h depending on experience What Next?
