We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented DTC CRM Executive to join our team. This role involves managing and optimising our email marketing to enhance customer engagement, improve retention, and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will have experience in email marketing and a passion for data-driven decision-making. 


You will be responsible for creating and implementing targeted campaigns as well as automated flows and SMS, analysing performance metrics, and continuously seeking ways to innovate and improve our strategies. If you have a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of email marketing best practices, and the ability to work collaboratively, we would love to hear from you.


Key Responsibilities


Email Marketing Strategy and Management

  • Develop and execute email marketing strategies to increase customer engagement and loyalty.
  • Manage the day-to-day running of DR.VEGAN’s email marketing strategy, including the creation and implementation of all email campaigns.
  • Ideate and execute A/B tests for campaigns and flows to optimise performance.
  • Monitor email deliverability and troubleshoot any issues that may occur.


Campaign Management and Analysis

  • Analyse customer data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of email campaigns, using key metrics and KPIs.
  • Report on channel performance using Klaviyo data and Google Analytics (GA4).
  • Compile and share email marketing performance reports to inform future strategies.


Collaboration and Compliance

  • Collaborate with all areas of the business, including marketing, sales, and product development, to ensure a cohesive customer experience and consistent communication.
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR and other data protection regulations.
  • Assist with the setup, testing, and implementation of website sign-up units (pop-ups) to grow our customer database.


Additional Responsibilities

  • Manage both email and SMS campaigns, ensuring they are aligned with overall marketing objectives.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve email marketing processes and tools.


Qualifications & Experience

  • At least 1 year's experience in a DTC email marketing role.
  • Experience managing an email platform (preferably Klaviyo) in an e-commerce environment.
  • Analytical mindset and the ability to provide insight into performance, using this to make informed decisions. Being able to work with Excel, create and interpret data through pivot tables is key. 
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ability to spot and correct errors, and ability to thoroughly and comprehensively test links and regional variances for every email sent out.
  • Knowledge of customer segmentation is beneficial but not essential.
  • Knowledge of editing HTML is an advantage but not essential.
  • Demonstrable eagerness to learn and a desire to grow our email marketing and CRM activities.
  • A strong awareness of other brands in the category.
  • Strong copywriting skills and ability to work closely with our designer to create engaging email content.
