Teaching AssistantYour new companyHays Education are working with a Secondary school in Southport, who are seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team. This will be a long term role starting as soon as possible.Your new roleYou will be working with KS3 and KS4, supporting the class teacher, managing behaviour, completing 1:1 work and group work with pupils. This role will involve supporting students in the SEN department.What you'll need to succeedTo be considered for this role, you will need a full DBS/Documents to apply for one as well as:Hold a relevant teaching assistant qualification (e.g. NCFE, CACHE or NVQ Level 3)Have previous experience working with children within the last 2 years Two references for work within a school/with children Experience supporting SEN pupils What you'll get in returnYou will join the most recognised recruitment agency in the UK where you will be paid as per the main or upper pay scale.
