Warehouse Operative

Alison Gray Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting for an immediate general Warehouse Operative for our client a leading menswear brand house in Carrickfergus, to join their busy team. Location: Carrickfergus Pay Rate: £11.44 per hour FTC: 2 months (potentially can go on longer) Hours:Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 5pm & Friday 8:30am - 3:30pm Duties & Responsibilities: Ensure that all customer orders are accurately picked, processed and dispatched on a timely basis. Unload vehicles efficiently and safely as required. Pack goods to be dispatched in an efficient manner, check order picking is correct. Carry out perpetual cycle count activities accurately and efficiently. Maintain accurate computer and paper records and procedures, reporting any variances or discrepancies. Control movements of stock from goods inward to stock locations whilst ensuring that all aisles are kept clear to be used effectively. Ensure housekeeping routines are adhered to (e.g. counter cleared & returned goods cleared each evening) To implement stock take procedures to help maintain accuracy of records and resolve all queries including negative stocks. ( Dec & May) Monitor feedback from customers and sales staff and pass on to relevant manager. Process returns as per company requirements. Carry out pre retailing tasks as per product / customer requirements. Personal Attributes: Ability to work quickly / under pressure. Attention to detail and accuracy. Problem solving capabilities.
