About the RoleAs a Project Manager within the Global PMO team you will play a fundamental role in delivery of complex projects for high profile clients across the world, often with challenging delivery timescales. This is an exciting and varied role where you will work with the Lead Consultant and Client Partner to resource, plan and manage all consulting phases of the project within defined timeframes and on budget. The nature of these projects is high profile, working with very senior stakeholders requiring discretion and confidentiality. You will demonstrate the ability to capture project requirements quickly, working collaboratively with global colleagues and senior stakeholders to build rapport, often with projects where no previous experience can inform the delivery. You’ll take charge of the day-to-day management of the project, documenting decisions, actions and processes, advising and directing colleagues. In our fast paced and growing organisation the ability to manage change processes, bringing colleagues along the journey with you, will be important. Where applicable you’ll work with the local Consulting Support Team to handover a full understanding of the client and the process, where there is extended ongoing delivery following the launch. This is a full-time, permanent position, flexible from Monday to Friday during typical office hours. Day-to-day the role can be performed remotely, with the expectation of occasional travel to Talogy offices in their region for team collaboration, meetings, and workshops.Owing to the global nature of this role, from time-to-time flexible working hours will be required to ensure timely communications with the client and project colleagues. Role ResponsibilitiesTeam LeadershipLead and direct the team delivering global projects to ensure clarity of purpose, responsibilities and KPIs in line with creating a standardised global approach.Operational OversightProvide regular updates to Head of Consulting PMO on project progress, challenges and achievements.Act as an ambassador of the Consulting PMO, providing global colleagues with insights into the projects that could be managed and the support that could be offered.Project set up and managementDevelop working knowledge of Talogy products and internal teams to facilitate smooth running of new and unfamiliar projects.Work with global teams to set up new projects, confirming client objectives/deliverables, project resources, timelines, budgets, risks and delivery.Create and manage a detailed project plan, tracking project progress and performance throughout, escalating risks and issues, as needed.Adapt and realign priorities as required throughout the project timeline, whilst monitoring and reporting potential scope creep.Deliver regular status updates to clients regarding projects and progress.Keep up to date records and details of internal materials/documentation created, and enhance standardised documentation based on learnings from each project.Client / participant management and supportWork with the Lead Consultant and Client Partner to provide a gold standard service of communication and delivery to the client.Guide, coach and support local Consulting Support colleagues in the process to be followed for the delivery of the project to candidates/participants.Where applicable, oversee the planning, logistics and delivery of the project by the local Consulting Support Team.Be the primary operational contact point for the client during set up. This may continue throughout a project, dependent on client needs.Financial ManagementWork with Sales on the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders, ensuring technical feasibility and all relevant costs are explicitly documented.Oversee the correct set up and recording of projects in OpenAir, ensuring all users are added, client details, invoicing, purchase orders, revenue recognition and costs are correctly detailed for project performance analysis and any cross charging between regions.Liaise with local Finance teams and Legal to ensure that invoicing arrangements for global projects are set up taking into consideration local taxes and charges.Promote and, where possible, integrate the use of OpenAir invoicing globally.Resource PlanningEnsure projects are resourced to the requirements of the Statement of Work, whilst considering the cost and efficiency of internal colleagues and external associates.Promote internal global resourcing wherever possible.Quality AssuranceEnsure projects adequately integrate quality assurance in the planning to deliver the highest level of service to the Client to protect and promote the Talogy brand.Ensure the highest standards of service quality are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.Working within a global teamActively explore, investigate and integrate cultural and regional differences into project planning to meet the requirements of the client.Capture and share regional and cultural differences to be considered when the PMO deliver projects regionally.Work with the Head of PMO and relevant Heads of Departments to develop standardised approaches for the delivery of Client Consulting projects, and support with the creation of a library of documentation.Knowledge, Skills and Experience Requirements:Demonstrable professional experience in project management is required (education / certification in project management is preferred).Strong research and investigative skills to inform the project process.Creative, analytical and accurate project planning and organisation skills.Experience leading, motivating and managing matrix teams, including internal and external resources, whilst holding the team accountable for performance.Excellent leadership, communication (written, verbal and presentation) and interpersonal skills.Confident presenter and ability to lead structured and productive meetings.Proven ability to successfully deliver multiple projects to specification, budget and agreed timelines in a fast-paced environment.Self-motivated and decisive, with the ability to adapt to changing or competing demands.Strong IT skills and technical aptitude to learn and utilise bespoke platforms quickly.Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, e.g. Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams etc. Providing Effective Service Customer Focus: Actively seeks to understand customer needs, appreciates the customer perspective, and strives to provide a positive customer experience.
