Tradewind are seeking a committed Year 3 Teacher to make an impact in one of the largest schools in Stockport! On behalf of our school, Tradewind are seeking to appoint a dedicated LKS2 teacher for a wonderful Year 3 class based in one of the largest Stockport schools in Brinnington. This Year 3 teaching role will commence ASAP for the ideal candidate on a temp-perm basis offering security and career progession. In return for your hard work, the school will pay to scale (MPS1-6) from day 1 and will consider ECT's with a KS2 background as well are more experienced teachers. The school is led by an experienced Headteacher who drives high expectations of both staff children and children. With strong, established links with the parent/carer community, the Head and wider staff go above and beyond to educate positive choices beyond the school day and support children in many of their 'first' experiences. With a higher than average % of FSM, the successful teacher will create a solid foundation for children, with structured routines and drive high expectations. The school creates a bespoke curriculum tailored to the needs of the children and uses adaptive methods to make learning accessible for all. Year 3 Teacher As the class teacher, you will be responsible for the progress and attainment of around 30 children. Additionally, you will be supported by a full-time teaching assistant who will carry out planned interventions to accelerate progress. Key Responsibilities include: -Planning and delivering engaging and purposeful lessons tailored to the needs of the class -Forming strong, trusting relationships with the children with clear structures and routines -Adhering to all school's policies including safeguarding, behaviour, assessment, anti-bullying etc. -Performing well on an individual basis, being organised, up-to-date with planning, prep and assessment and working well as a team player with additional classroom staff -Valuing parents as partners in the learning process and providing advice and guidance for learning support at home -Providing a safe space for children, where they are valued as individuals -Nurture skills and talents in addition to academic outcomes If you are looking to work in LKS2 and transform outcomes for children, this is a rewarding opportunity and one not to be missed!
