About the role: We are looking for a warm, dedicated, and proactive Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant (TA) to join our team. In this part-time role, you’ll be providing focused support to young learners through small group interventions and one-on-one sessions, helping them reach key milestones in their academic and personal development. This position will involve working closely with children who have special educational needs (SEN), using creative and engaging strategies to foster their confidence and learning. You’ll have the opportunity to make a real difference in a child’s life, helping them succeed in their early educational journey. Application Requirements: • Previous experience working with children in a Key Stage 1 setting is preferred.• Knowledge or experience with SEN children and boosters and interventions is highly desirable.• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff.• A caring, patient, and enthusiastic attitude, ready to inspire young learners.• Flexibility and creativity in adapting learning techniques to support individual student needs. Key Responsibilities: • Assist in delivering tailored interventions to small groups of children who need additional support in core subjects.• Work one-on-one with students, providing targeted assistance in literacy, numeracy, and other areas.• Support classroom teachers in creating a nurturing, inclusive learning environment.• Help manage behaviour in line with the school’s policies and procedures, promoting a positive classroom culture.• Maintain accurate records of progress, helping to track the development of students under your care.
