Senior Quantity Surveyor – Passive Fire Burnham, Buckinghamshire Up to £60,000 Key Responsibilities: * Help/Manage Commercial Team to ensure effective working & communications * Administer construction contracts, including tendering, reviews, negotiations etc. * Assist with workforce oversight / subcontractor deployment & time keeping * Meet with subcontractors throughout the works & approving stage payments, including accurate take offs & measurements * Evaluate & process change orders * Generate regular cost reports & forecasts to provide Construction Manager & Directors with up-to-date financial information * Maintain accurate records of all cost related documents, contracts, invoices, payments & correspondence * Communicate effectively with the wider team * Support & seek best values in other areas of the business, advising & assisting where needed What we’d like from you * HND or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related subject * Experience in the Fire Stopping / Passive Fire sector is highly desirable * Self-motivated, friendly, sociable, and driven * Full driving license * Commercially aware * Self-motivated personality * Attention to detail with a right first-time attitude * Organisation and time management skills If this opportunity sounds like something of interest, please email Oliver (@) huntermasonconsulting .com
