PE Teacher

Job Title: Teacher of PE Location: Milton Keynes Contract Type: Temp to Perm / Permanent Salary: Paid to Scale (M1 - UPS3) Hours: Full-time, Standard Teaching Hours with Full Teaching Responsibilities Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Teacher of PE to join our school in Milton Keynes. This position offers the flexibility of starting on a temporary basis with the potential to transition into a permanent role, or a direct permanent placement for the right candidate. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality Physical Education lessons and inspiring students to develop a love for sports and fitness. Key Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging PE lessons across a range of age groups and abilities. Promote physical activity and well-being within the school community. Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and support. Foster a positive learning environment, encouraging teamwork, discipline, and motivation in students. Participate in extracurricular activities, such as sports teams and school events. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the PE curriculum is cohesive and up-to-date.Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) preferred, with experience in teaching PE. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (if applying for a Temp to Perm position). Strong organisational and communication skills. A passion for promoting physical fitness and well-being in young people.
