Additionally, the position requires a commitment to in-person attendance at least two days per week in South West Essex Job Title: Senior Cognitive Behavioural Therapist for Psychosis & Bipolar Location: Thurrock (Multi-site) Salary: £35.00 per hour Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (Hybrid) Band: 8a About the Role: Are you a highly skilled Cognitive Behavioural Therapist or Clinical/Counselling Psychologist with a passion for supporting individuals with psychosis and bipolar disorders? We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team in Thurrock, providing psychological leadership and therapeutic interventions within the Early Intervention in Psychosis (EiP) and At Risk Mental State (ARMS) services. In this key role, you will work collaboratively to deliver evidence-based therapies, supervise staff, and contribute to the ongoing development of psychological services. Your expertise will be instrumental in supporting the mental health and well-being of individuals, promoting recovery, and enhancing service outcomes. Key Responsibilities: * Deliver talking therapies within EiP and ARMS teams to support individuals experiencing psychosis or at risk of psychosis * Provide psychological leadership and development within EiP/ARMS services * Supervise and manage team members to ensure high-quality care delivery * Develop specific areas of psychological knowledge and contribute to service innovations * Ensure adherence to professional standards and evidence-based practice in therapeutic interventions Requirements: * HCPC registration as a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist or BABCP accreditation as a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist * Extensive experience in delivering psychological therapies, particularly CBT, for individuals with psychosis and bipolar disorders * Strong leadership, supervisory, and service development skills * Excellent communication, clinical, and organisational abilities * Commitment to patient-centred care and evidence-based practice If this aligns with your qualifications and availability, I would be happy to discuss further
