Business Development Manager - Hybrid (2 to 3 days in London every 2 weeks) ++Must have complex enterprise sales experience from within the electronics industry, for example, refurbished hardware, ITAD, cloud services, infosec, data security.++ We are actively seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager for a small yet impactful Certified B Corp scale-up business with ambitious goals in combating e-waste and expanding its footprint. The business specializes in recycling technology from businesses, purging data from devices and refurbishing and redeploying reliable and affordable devices to schools, charities, and SMEs, empowering more children and adults to thrive in a digital world whilst reducing electronic waste. This is a scale-up business with big growth plans . As one of the first hires in the commercial team, you will work side-by-side with the management team and interact with all key functions of the business. Initially, you will need to be a hands-on generalist across all aspects of the sales funnel, utilising leads from marketing for outbound prospecting, segmenting and analysing the market, helping to identify new markets through to sales close and handover to the Customer Success team who will coordinate post-sales activities, including delivery and ongoing account management. As the business grows, you can expect the team to grow and for the remit of the role to become more specialised. What we are looking for: Proven experience of complex enterprise sales in IT services, cloud services, infosec, data security, refurbished hardware or ITAD. Commercial mindset with success in complex enterprise, multi-stakeholder environments. A significant track record in demand generation, in a B2B environment for a smaller brand. Strong relationship management skills. A track record of cross selling/upselling. Excellent negotiation skills. You constantly look for ways to improve the sales process, making it more efficient. Experience from within a logistics/heavy operational business model is highly desirable. You thrive in a fast-paced hands-on environment where you can make a real difference and are passionate about technology and sustainability.
