Network and Security Specialist

Senior Network Specialist required for a brilliant business based in Birmingham. Job Overview You'll be part of a dynamic team focused on delivering cutting-edge security solutions. Collaborating closely with customers, you'll design, implement, and support innovative technology solutions, driving business success in an energetic environment. Key Responsibilities: Lead project-based engineering, from conception to completion with comprehensive documentation. Collaborate with customers and internal teams to design and implement innovative technology solutions. Develop technical expertise across the client product range, focusing on network design, implementation and security. Provide Tier 3/4 technical support and mentor junior engineers. Contribute to improving business services and service quality. Person Specification Education and Qualifications Formal accreditation with vendor product sets, particularly Juniper, Checkpoint, Aruba, or Cisco, is desirable. Experience and Knowledge At least five years providing network solutions in a technical support role. Project-focussed background, with experience of end-to-end Network process (design, installations, implementation and maintenance) Large-scale deployment and fault finding on complex systems.
