Type : Permanent, Full-time (2-year term) Hours : 35 hours/week Compensation : Approximately £70,000 annually, based on expertise Locale : London Docklands - Hybrid Role Overview Our Machine Learning department is expanding, and we’re in search of a Machine Learning Engineer with a solid track record in the creation and implementation of Machine Learning workflows. Your mission will involve enhancing our NLP and General AI systems to streamline our operational processes. You’ll be tasked with architecting and coding General AI application frameworks, as well as refining and overseeing our current ML and data transformation workflows, including ML Ops management. Responsibilities: Implement LLM and General AI automations to elevate the customer experience Oversee and refine existing machine learning workflows Embrace test-driven development, maintain clean code standards, and ensure thorough documentation Construct data transformation and inference workflows Fulfill service level agreements, as determined with your supervisor Develop APIs to seamlessly integrate ML models into broader applications Identify ML and Intelligent Automation prospects with the business and project teams, capturing and interpreting business needs Assure the quality of machine learning code produced by peers Coordinate with the IT infrastructure manager for the upkeep of Intelligent Automation infrastructure components Document and agree upon development hours and story points, ensuring alignment with testing duration expectations Address daily operational challenges in collaboration with the IT team, including developers, architects, administrators, and team leaders Uphold personal accountability in achieving objectives, aligned with our organizational values Essential Qualifications Proficient in Python programming Knowledgeable in API integration (e.g., REST APIs) across various platforms Experience in crafting serverless workflows on Azure, AWS, or GCP Skilled in developing data transformation pipelines utilizing SQL and NoSQL databases Competent in establishing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions, and ML Ops workflows in Azure ML, SageMaker, or Vertex AI Committed to test-driven development practices Prior involvement in NLP application development is advantageous Capable of conveying complex technical and analytical concepts to a broad audience Familiar with agile development methodologies Able to estimate project costs and development timelines COMPREHENSIVE BENEFITS PACKAGE
