General Manager

We are looking for a wine-focused person to manage a new wine bar and cafe. Number 34 in Lewes will serve low intervention wines from small producers across Europe along with batch cocktails and a small, simple menu of European classics.We will also be hosting wine tastings and monthly supper clubs. Were looking for passion and knowledge along with an enthusiasm and ability to shareyour love of wine and hospitality with the team and customers. Youll be working in an exciting, new environment with the owners to help curate the wine list. You will choose the wines to open by the glass, have an active role in the list and be responsible for suggesting changes and development of training. There will be able opportunity to expand your wine knowledge, attend trade tastings with the team and organise in-house tastings for staff and customers. You will run the service, be involved in serving wine and food and picking the daily wine specials. We want to create a fun, dynamic and friendly space. TPBN1_UKCT
