Finance Manager (Interim)

Camino Search is pleased to be partnered with a leading, private equity backed entrainment & leisure business who is looking to hire an interim Finance Manager to support the current finance team as they go through a period of transformation. The role is a great opportunity for someone that is looking to step in to private equity and wants to build of their reporting skill set within a best in class finance function. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the month-end and year-end financial processes , including reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, and ensuring the accuracy of financial statements. Develop and manage budgets in collaboration with department heads, providing ongoing financial support and analysis. Lead forecasting processes , delivering detailed projections and ensuring alignment with business objectives. Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, offering clear insights into performance, risks, and opportunities. Support and manage the 16-week rolling cash flow forecasts , monitoring inflows and outflows to ensure effective cash management. Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making. Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and regulatory requirements. Work closely with auditors and tax advisers during audits and reporting cycles. Key Requirements: Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent, with a strong background in finance management. Proven experience in month-end and year-end close processes. Strong financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting skills. Excellent understanding of cash flow management and reporting. Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar). Strong analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels. Proactive, organised, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
